The Outing to The Museum of Country Life at Turlough near Castlebar on the 29th was a great success and there are some photographs taken that evening in a separate News item. Click HERE for details.

The Talk on the photographs from the Lawrence Collection by Seamus Gavin last week was well attended by Club members. We all enjoyed both the quality of these amazing photographs (many of which were taken at the end of the 19th century) and also the detailed history of the town which they illuminated so well.

This competition known usually as "The Nationals" is an inter-club comp. We have to put together a panel of 10 photographs. The maximum number of pictures one author can have in the panel is 2. If you can bring them as small prints (6" x 8" for example) AND (this is VERY important) also bring the original image, as you would like it to be entered, saved on a memory stick.
